It's SO time.

With everything that has happened this week, it was the craziest week ever. The whole thing with the Dave Matthews tickets was such a bummer, and really depressed the crap out of me for a day or two. But one girl posted on Craigslist and something like 20 of us so far have banded together. SPD is pursuing the case against the guy because between all of us we have enough information to nail him. That was the best news ever.

Well, I was thinking tonight and you know, Dave's music has really gotten me through a lot of things in my life. It's been a one solitary constant that just keeps me level, and has been there more than most people have been. this week just brought that connection into a further bond.

I've never been big on fanclubs. I've never been big on band tattoo designs. I've never been big on names on tattoos.

Well, almost all those personal rules are being broken. I am getting new ink within the next few weeks. And I can't wait.

I decided on it already. You see, Firedancer is an interpretive piece that is done by Dave. He drew her himself, and she is representative of what he sees from stage when he looks into a crowd and sees everyone gettin' their groove on.

So, my ideas for my next ink, which will be on my left calf:

Here is Firedancer. 

I want Firedancer in the center of this circle. Around the bottom will be the words 

"I reach and search, and never stop" which is a Dave song, Jimi Thing. I am explaining the meaning below. 

I think I would like the ring of flames to remain black, with Firedancer done in the style of the 2nd flames pic below with reds, yellows and oranges. 

So, what the song means to me: 

You might have good days. You might have bad days. But they will all pass, because of everything and everyone around you. You truly have all you need. 

Sure, it's about smoking weed. Yummy. 

The quote "I reach and search, and never stop" is because I am consistently reaching and learning as a person. I evolve myself, and always reaching for new things. Live your life without fear. Try new things. Don't be scared. But most of all, don't give up. I am NOT afraid to live. Never be afraid to reach for your dreams.
